Ekibina Ky'omu Kijiji - Now on Your Phone
From Local Mat to Digital Map
In every village in Uganda, we have Ekibina / Akasente / Omugole / Munno Mukabi. 10 women meet every Tuesday, each brings 10,000, one person takes all 100,000. Next week, another person takes. No bank, no interest, just trust.
Our mothers have done it for 50 years to pay school fees, start business, build houses.
CashRound.top is that SAME Ekibina, but now in digital era. No more walking to meet under mango tree. No more treasurer disappearing with money. No more writing in exercise book that gets lost.
Just like in village you have small Ekibina of 10k and big one of 100k, we have:
| Ekibina | Contribution | When Your Turn Reaches |
|---|---|---|
| Starter - For students | 10,000 UGX | Receive UGX |
| Ordinary - For market women | 20,000 UGX | Receive UGX |
| VIP - For business | 50,000 UGX | Receive UGX |
| VVIP - For big projects | 100,000 UGX | Receive UGX |
You contribute once, when your turn in the circle comes, system pays you to MTN/Airtel.
In village Ekibina, everyone knows you: "That is Nakato from Katwe, daughter of Mukasa". We don't allow strangers.
Online we do same:
✅ NIN + ID Photo - To know you are real Ugandan
✅ Village & District - To keep community identity
✅ Webcam Selfie - To confirm you are owner of ID, not someone using stolen ID
✅ Next of Kin - Just like in local group, if something happens, family knows
This is NOT like other online things. This is Ekibina with respect.
NB / Notabene about Inviting:
In old Ekibina, when your group is full (e.g. 10 people), you wait for new group to start. To make digital circle move faster, we allow you to help start new circle by introducing 2 people you trust (like you would invite cousin to village Ekibina). This is optional and only to keep circles rotating quickly, not the main idea. The main idea is contribute and wait for your turn - just like our mothers did.
